Sydney and New South Wales global offices


New South Wales Government Business Offices have been established in key cities in Asia.

The offices provide a contact point for businesses and people who want to do business in Sydney and NSW.  The office staff also works with New South Wales (NSW) companies looking for commercial opportunities in Asia.

The NSW business offices:
  • provide a single contact point for investors, buyers and visitors with an interest in NSW
  • source and respond to inquiries from Asian companies and state-owned corporations interested in investing in or buying products and services from NSW
  • assist in delivering the NSW Government's trade missions by linking visiting NSW firms with international buyers
  • organise trade and investment missions to NSW
  • coordinate participation by NSW businesses and government agencies in major events such as the Commonwealth Games in Delhi and the Shanghai World Expo
  • identify business opportunities for NSW industries and firms seeking to expand internationally
  • build local partnerships with government, business and industry associations to enhance awareness of NSW capabilities and the State's attractiveness as a destination for business, education and tourism, and
  • promote major events taking place in NSW.
